Do not be upset, ma cheri! My last stay at the St. Georges in Paris had similar bed bolsters...merely stuffed with sheets, too [of Egyptian cotton, of course]. One cannot help but love Paris even in the rain; however, I do confess that wet croissants are an aquired taste...much like escargot. mensa anonymous
Not sure if CrustyBill means his travel buddy Ed or his travel buddy PolkaGrl.... :-) PolkaGrl thinks she needs to get a hooded jacket before her next trip. That or not be so lazy, and go back up the 6 flights of stairs for the umbrellas.....

It was raining (the WET) all day in Paris (the CROISSANTS)

I don't mind rain... it's walking in it and getting me and my travel buddy wet that I don't like! :^P
